If we’re parking that many aircraft, we should all be seeking entertainment elsewhere. These are stupid reindeer games that must be played before we get a contract. Don’t give in to the fear. Or do give into the fear and go to one of the many places that are hiring. Just don’t accept less than you’re worth because you think you’re saving your job. If they need us, they’ll keep us. If they don’t, they’ll furlough you without batting an eye. There is no purple promise, no PSP, just business. Stand strong.
I don’t think anyone is suggesting parking the entire fleet this year. That is impossible.

On the last 10-Q filed, FedEx had 29 767s and 6 777s to be delivered over three years. The company isn’t growing that fast. Are they going to park new fuel efficient airplanes? Or the maintenance intensive, fuel inefficient and risky to operate airplanes? Unless FedEx tells Boeing they are deferring orders (and I’m not sure they can do that now) those airplanes are arriving and something is getting parked.

I don’t know what this has to do with contract negotiations. Prior to COVID, some MDs were temporarily parked and the MD’s international presence was gutted.

March 16th 4:30CT is the next earnings call. We might get more insight on the changes coming. If not, April 5th in NYC.

I think I said, shrink that number, not match the number.

It could be more if you don’t improve your scope clause.

Nobody is saying park 188 airplanes. They're gonna park MD-11s, maybe faster then most of us thought? This will be mostly offset by the scheduled 76 and 77 deliveries. ANC -11, LAX and a toss up CGN may or may not close. Nobody knows and we all find out together in a couple weeks. I hope I'm wrong on all of it. Doesn't change anything with our resolve on the contract. Hopefully this time they fix what's wrong with it before sending it out. Otherwise we get a new NC and recall the MEC.
