Ok guys, besides GoJet, who else is hiring at the regional level? My best friend has over 1200 hours total and 500 multi turbine, however, he wants to go to a regional since his night freight job is drying up on FRB contracts. Now, I have stressed that GoJet would be my last choice next to Mesa, but with the downturn on the industry, he is faced with either no flying at all that places him behind in career progression or bite the bullet and apply to GoJets where he continues to advance.
What negative implications could he face on a regional level if he decides to pursue such a course? In regards to moving on to the majors, this choice would have little if no effect on his qualifications atleast for Southwest, so I'm looking for hard data here.
This is not flame, I'm looking for serious advice in hopes I have overlooked his options elsewhere.
