Let all this mess with the economy, oil prices, and G7 be a lesson...maybe some good can come from this? What I choose to take away from it is that I'll be sure to always position myself as best I can in this business; I for one will not ever need to sacrifice my "idealism" as some of y'all call it, and arguably what is right to put bread on the table...If that means not living the extravagent Pilot-lifestyle, so be it. I'll live below my means...

I'm still trying to figure out what the taste is.... I must not be clever enough to figure out how that insult was supposed to go...

And what do they have in common, either in a local by themselves like Netjets(IBT local 1108) or other airlines (IBT local 747). In fact your teamster "brothers" at local 747 refused you. So while every other airline represented by the teamsters is in that local, you are represented by the same local (IBT local 618) that has so "wonderfully" represented our flight attendants for years constantly bending over for the company. Why do you think management handpicked them for your union. I have many friends in locals 1108 and 747 so you don't have to lecture me about them.

This amazes me... I think the furloughed mainline guys are the dumbest of the bunch... You got furloughed, ostensibly because mainline gave away flying that could be yours. So, to "put food on the table" you go and agree to work at gojet flying the work you were furloughed to outsource at 1/5th your former pay-rate??? Can none of you put two and two together and realize you're ENABLING YOUR OWN FURLOUGH!?! Why should they recall you when you're willing to do the same job for MUCH less money???

Well, if Mr. bigshot furloughed UA/G7 boy wants to tell us exactly what he meant by his little comment...

It amazes me as well. He might as well retired his seniority number at mainline and get used to living on the C scale in which he or she is enabling.
