Hey wings- how long have you been here?
Quote: I try so hard to accomplish our goals and yet sometimes I fear that we're looking out for ourselves more than we're looking out for our company. We lose the fact that in most cases work is over half of our lives. So we should committ ourselves as much as we can to our work so we can enrich our lives as well.

When you fight against our company you are fighting against making yourself a better person. You fight against everyone in this company that is trying to help you. You fight against all the passengers who rely on our airline to see loved ones and accomplish their own goals.

Ops is not "out to get you." It's not us vs. them. We're in this together and we rely so much on one another.

If we notice any shortcomings, we much use our strengths to fill those gaps. That's why we work here. This is not a stepping stone; it's an avenue to build experience and character.

We became pilots because we love to fly. What happened to that?

If you don't believe in this company, stop hurting those that do--- LEAVE!!
Did Phil just join APC or what...dang dude...I understand your frustration...I love being a pilot also...but I do not like being used to benefit others. YES at any company we are a TEAM...but a TEAM should act like a TEAM. A TEAM is fair to one another. That is all we are trying to strive for at Pinnacle. But the TEAM needs a good coach to preach the family concept...and that is hard to find in any company. But believe it or not...the concept of TEAM comes from the Top down not the other way. We as pilots can work hard and go beyond what we are asked to do...but if management continues to take advantage of our hard work...then we get no where. This is what US pilots are trying to strive for. Good work rules, QOL, and pay. FAIRNESS...then we can talk about being a family, building character and quality experience here at Pinnacle Airlines...baby steps.

ohhh boy here's someone that either......
1. has 200 hours in a 152 and 75 hours in an RJ and got his private license in November...
2. Has his seat belt too tight
3. Had an explosive decompression at FL370 and couldn't find his O2 mask and fried his brain
4. Is one of the management brownnosing trolls that give management his company webboard password so they can see what the STFD group has to say.
Pinnacle is absolutely a stepping stone. In fact C. Seal came in to my new hire class and said exactly that. They do not want us here for a long period of time. They would rather be paying 3rd year captain rates than 10 year captain rates. Straight from Mr. Seal's mouth "we want you to get your quick upgrade, build your time and move on". There are 10 other people from my new hire class that also heard this and will verify.
Our contract negotiations and the current atmosphere at this company is US (pilots) VS. Management. There is NO TEAM concept here. If there was a TEAM concept, you would see the company working WITH the pilot group, not AGAINST it. Case in point...... the impending displacement. The company is not doing one friggin thing to mitigate the situation!! Not one darn thing!! LOA's...NOPE...min value lines...NOPE....Dual Quailing the CA's....NOPE....Nothing. The company does not care about anything except the bottom line of an expense report. All they see is $$$, they don't care one bit about the human side of the equation. If they did, maby we would see more of a TEAM effort, but until then, its Us Vs. Them.
Are you for really??

This is got to be Phil T or his right hand man DW... all the pilots I know that are at PNCL are greatful for being there and love what they do. They are just upset (lighter term) with the way management has dragged this contract out for so long. 10yrs is a hell of a long time to go without a pay raise. When the contract became ammendable management should of stepped up four years ago to reward the group of pilots that has earned them the fancy cars and big houses. They have driven the pilot group to a point where they would rather see Phil, Clive and DW lose their big homes then have settlle for some bull**** contract. If the displacement is managements way of saying "sign now or run lean" it wont be the first time. they are only shotting themselves in the foot. looking at the numbers that are being displaced from the 4 bases it just doesnt add up!! Several months we were hurting for CA now when the staffing is almost perfect they want to return to panic mode in the next few months. My heart goes out to the 30 CA..... hang in there your faithful management will come to their minds before its too late. Remember this is the same management that can't even furlough correctly!!
[quote=3greens;529135]Has Pinnacle received all of its remaining 5 900's from Bombardier yet or just received a couple of them? Do they all go in service together this month along with the other 2 they received prior to receiving the freedom airplanes?

Flew 195PQ and 200PQ yesterday (195PQ delivered 2 weeks ago and 200PQ delivered last week. So I know we have gotten 2 of them and are flying them.
The real question is.....When do 9-E Pilots grab there collective balls and walk out......until they get a contract....until then they should stop complaining.

Are you afraid of Uncle Phil and Cousin Clive????

This has already been discussed in this thread, and at length MULTIPLE TIMES on APC in the last 6/12/18/24 months...

Unfortunately the RLA comes into effect and the requirements for a legal strike prevent us from doing it on the fly as you have so eloquently challenged us to do! We (9E pilots) have already "grabbed our collective balls" and voted 99% to strike! We are not going to settle for a contract, we are demanding a fare contract that will hopefully benefit other pilot groups as well when it is their time to negotiate a contract! Everyone vents .....deal with it!

I love people who post stuff like this. I would bet good money that this is the same kind of person that when his company furloughs he is the one complaining that he is not getting his 89 hour line (if the pilots get reduced lines) or he is the first in line to pick up open time claiming HE has bills to pay. Whatever regional you work for there are people ****ed about the way they are treated. If you are so big on walking out LEAD THE WAY.
