Quote: To no one in particular...are we ever going to get a MiCrew that fully replaces iCrew? Or will we just be stuck with three versions that all do slightly different things for the next ten years? Does anyone know who to email, etc. about our dissatisfaction with 1980s iCrew? Every chance I get I put it in company surveys.
The plan is to have MiCrew replace iCrew. However, MiCrew is programmed by Georgia Tech interns (not joking) so who knows how long it will take.

So that’s an improvement, right?
Quote: I do hate having to change my password every 90 days, but what I hate more is NEVER being able to repeat a password. I no longer remember my earlier passwords and I am having trouble coming up with new ones.
The irony is the collective IT community has made it so difficult (and often) to change passwords, that the only way is to have a "system", which actually makes it less secure at the end of the day...

The worst was the military though, with 16 digit PW's and all different requirements for caps/special/excluded characters, the only other way to remember your SIPR password was to write it down...

I don't think anyone will be able to crack the code on my "system". I move my keyboard pattern to the left instead of to the right.

Hint: Use 01 as your “number” in your password. Every 90 days add 1 to it so it then becomes 02, 03, .......
You’re good for 99 changes. Most pilots can remember four to five digits for frequency changes so two should be a piece of cake.
Back in the day we had "nuclear code keys" that changed digits every 6 seconds or so. Better type fast...

They brought us ATILA, so what can go wrong?? 😳

Add in the year with it and it’ll be unlimited through a career (1901, 1902 or reversed order). Ironically, it’s made my password that much more predictable.

We just used Pig Latin. The Rooskies never cracked it.
Pa$$w0rd works 99% of the time.
