Quote: Hello all, how long it takes to hold JFK or CVG for a 74 new hire. Thanks
You will never hold it if you are washed out of training. Good Luck...you will need it.

Quote: You're in luck. Atlas standards are so low now that basic grammar isn't even required.

This right here is Exhibit A for why people have such a hard time taking you guys seriously. You all beat the drum about how awful life is at Atlas and urge people to do their due diligence but when someone does that by asking legitimate questions you all roll in like a**holes with snarky condescending comments. (It’s not just you two, but yours were the easiest quotes to paste.)

If you really want to get any traction with your party line, you need to realize you’re shooting yourselves in the foot every time you get on here an sh*t on anyone trying to make educated decisions.

As a former GIANT, I wish you all nothing but success in your fight, but y’all need to get your act together and quit being a**holes to people who are simply trying to arm themselves with information.

You ruin your credibility every time you do.

So, you want me to take someone who wants to fly a 747 seriously when they lack basic grammar? No. I have more respect for my profession than you do.

Using a minor grammatical error as justification for belittling a fellow aviator seeking information is hardly “respecting” our profession. You can achieve the same goal of steering people away from Atlas without being a d*ck in the process.

Don’t use the company’s bad behavior as an excuse for your own. Is it really that hard to just not be an a**hole?

JFK is a very small base, and has been shrinking...

“It’s time to put pilots first, ahead of protests, and get to a new contract.”

That’s what I call a “word salad”.

Perhaps English isn’t his or her first language.

As long as you’re criticizing grammar; “So, you want me to take someone seriously who wants to fly a 747 when they lack basic grammar?” There...fixed for you. Your syntactic error says the subject wants to fly a 747 “seriously”

You’re deluded by your own misplaced arrogance and the assumption that people actually like to fly with you.

I criticized him for his lack of "basic grammar". I don't go around looking for errors that people make concerning the nuanced juxtaposition of words in a sentence like you've just tried to do. I just think that pilots who can't use basic grammar make our profession look bad. You must disagree with that which tells me that you probably don't have much respect for our profession.

The really funny thing is that you're not even correct in your criticism. The subject of my sentence is "someone who wants to fly a 747", not "someone", as you claimed. That completely invalidates your criticism. Nice try though.

By the way, how would you have any idea if people want to fly with me and what does that have to do with anything that was said here? Seems like you just desperately want to attack me personally.

“Fully committed”...As evidenced by years of delays, no-shows, stonewalling, lawsuits, arbitration, demands for amalgamation, threats of concessions, demands to keep ancient work rules, hiring union busting specialists, refusals to discuss any sections that are money-related, twice breaking framework agreements, refusing to meet more than a few paltry days per month & then going months with no meetings at all... while at the same time telling new hire candidates that a new CBA is right around the corner...for years on end.

Mm-hmm, fully committed.
