Whoever called me from Frontier who identified himself as “from the CP’s office”, and said I was suspicious as I didn’t have my logbooks with me while on commute from an overseas job. Thanks, but no thanks First Officer Toolbox. I’ll pass on the interview as I’m “suspicious”.

How does that make him/her TOTD? Was this at a job fair? I think there is more to this story and I veto the nomination.

Went to a job fair enroute from Orlando. Told them no logbooks after a nice meet and greet. Explained I was just on my commute. No problem, understood. Called a few days later for an interview. Stated again, no logbook. Called me suspicious. I have an appointment in Artesia, NM for training and a security clearance. I’m obviously too suspicious for for an airbus with cute animals airbrushed on the tail and the FO who identifies as a CP. Nothing more to tell. I didn’t go to the interview. The original Frontier post jogged my toolbank memory. Were you the FO that called me and I called you Captain and you didn’t correct me? Call me back, I’ll call you a tool if you want.

I’ve been out of that trash heap for well over a year. Nice try.

Hold the phone, I'm desperately trying to follow the logic here. He's TOTD for working at a ULCC in the past, but you escape from the same status, how exactly? Are you past the cutoff? How long is that exactly, a year?

So even if a job fair was convenient to your commute why didn’t you bring your logbooks unless it was stated not to? And when called for an interview you said you wouldn’t be able to bring your logs, why?

What’s wrong with that? I went from one heap of trash regional to a “better heap of trash regional” to avoid furlough. It was my best option at the time to continue to pay my bills. While yes I wore my best $200 suit and had an apathetic smile on my face for that interview, after years of abuse and being treated like a liability vs an asset, it most certainly was a heap of trash airline. I believe our friend who once worked for Frontier has every right to his opinion of his previous employer that most likely at the time was the lesser of two evils.

Not suspicious, but shows you don't really want the job, or are too lazy to figure it out.
