I used to really hate flying with rich old ****s like that back in my CFI days. More money than brains and only needed me to “check a box” for the insurance company.

“I’m not a CFI and I’m not a professional pilot” is his intro.

Yep.
Nice plane though.

Here is his most recent display of his downright terrifying lack of skill and decision making. His approach starts at ~48:00 and you can hear him voicing over his hare-brained rationale for his subsequent recklessness. He originally uploaded, but later removed, a different version of this clip that included the cockpit view of him breaking out below minimums and then executing a banking -1900FPM dive at roughly 200AGL to land. Here is a link to that original clip, autopilot comes off at 6:00 and it gets scarier and scarier from there, with the piece de resistance right at 7:00. Just look at those needles!!

of him completely off course trying to join the ILS 28R at KOAK (Start at 32:40). After checking on with tower by saying "Cessna 41Q, kiiiind of on the ILS," you can see him inadvertently enter a 30 degree bank to the left (further away from the localizer) and a dive with the VSI pegged. Luckily he recovers as he breaks out after losing ~800'.

This guy is a clear and present danger to everyone around him but doesn't seem to realize it and the fact that next time, he might actually crash and kill people, makes him TOTD IMHO.
Jesus. Surprised he's made it to the age he's at.

Before signing off, Jerry said his wife didn’t look too happy. Probably because he cheated death again, and no insurance claim.

Since you mentioned his wife, here's a clip of her having to remind Jerry to turn on the pilot controlled lighting at ~100agl after breaking out on an approach.

Having seen what she must've seen, it's an absolute mind**** that she still gets into that airplane with him.

This guy is awesome. Reminds me of an FO I used to fly with, he was a defrocked sim instructor who was forced out of the training department and back to the line. He spent so much time in training that his actual airplane skills were, to be charitable, wanting. His go-to line, having bollixed up something, was always "mistakes is how we learn things". After a particularly ugly approach into EWR, he says "mistakes is how we learn things". To which the FE replies "than you must be the smartest mother********r on the property".

At 0:40 the controller asks him if he copied the phone number. We can only hope it was for some violation investigation, not just the number to cancel IFR....

In one of those clips I recognized a tone in the controller's voice that was similar to my mother's when I pee'd in my toy box.

Jeebus!! That second video was really hard to watch. He reminded me of typical new students working on their Instrument rating way back when when I was an instructor (late 80's), except that he's NOT a student. Just wow!
