Good points.
I had a few muses on the subject:
1. Does Obama feel pressure from organized labor to come through and relase a major union to self help? with labor lagging in all states, if the Democrats hope to keep labor on their side in the voting booth, surely Obama's advisors are whispering in his ears to let labor be labor.
2. Is the NMB sufficiently stacked with good people who not only see things our way, but will have the hueavos to relase us?
3. Since we are "too big to fail" as touted by some, are we "too big to be released?" Domestic and International Aviation Commerce is such a huge sector of our economy would Obama order us to stay at work even if we take a strike vote to walk and have cooled off? It is a good chance the President will form a PEB to protect the national economy.
4. What will ALPA's PR campaign look like? How will it be countered by UCH mgt?
5. Will the scabs be looking for an opportunity to redeem themselves, or will they fold like a cheap polyester leasure suit?
