April 30th released date?

No. There are two grievances filed against UCH. There are no legal actions against the CAL pilots.

The pilots, through, their reps directes such action. The pilots felt that it would be wrong to leave us out in the cold regarding profit sharing, since we work damn hard. We are cheap labor, we work til we die, and therefore we deserve any and all bit of profit sharing we can get.

I am in the training center this week. Our PC used to be 3 days now due to the merger I am out here for 4 days With Pay, not on my days off and 1st class seats to and from home. That is all in our contract though. Why does CAL not pay for the extra day? And why are you training on your days off? Maybe what some are trying to tell you is that together we can change these thing for the better for all of us....JCBA.
Dong it for free on my dime and my time.
I would rather hold off on doing this extra training until such time as we get paid for it. But, in the meantime, I would rather my MEC negotiate a side letter that pays me for it if I actually have no choice but to do it.
But, the UAL MEC might file a grievance making me do it for no pay and on my days off.........I can't win for losing.

My 2 day PC is now a 3 day PC. I live in base where the simulator is.

That is correct.
You get 20 hours of pay and first class travel.
We get 2:24 per day and no first class travel.
Having to combine the extra day of pain and suffering in the simulator is like being an indentured servant at these pay rates. You get 25 to 30 percent of your monthly paycheck for just going to the sim. In order for us to make that coin, we'd have to fly an extra trip. CAL counts on that because we're all so poor after having our pockets picked for the last 10 years. It's like a productivity enhancement tool. Make your pilots come to work on their days off....This forces them to fly more because of PBS. PBS deconflicts the sim event 2 months in advance. You'll get to work 8 to 10 days in a row sometimes with your sim events tacked on either in front of or behind your trips. If it's legal via PBS, they will stick it on your line.
18 days til the weekend. Slave-ship airlines.........Stivala and Muir strike again.

You are really coming across as a crybaby Otto. Who cares where you live?? You should NOT have a contract that requires you to go to work without pay and NO JCBA will pass that requires you to go to work for free! Notwithstanding that the idea of side deals and separate contracts is idiotic, given the fact that you negotiated the current contract, what makes you think that you could even negotiate such a side deal???
Your last comment is just plain stupid.

Why do I still have a crappy CBA with this in it? This is an actual ALPA contract no less.

It is truly out of our hands.
If Lee Moak wanted it done, he would have brought out the big guns.
He is gun shy or something. I do think he is anti-confrontational, and nothing gets done in ALPA regarding the "ALPA tool box" unless National blesses it.
