Absolutely true. Would not have made a difference at all. I don't care how you sing it, I would rather work for SkyWest (Inc) than for any other "regional" ...

Agreed. Rather be at a Major, but while playing for the farm teams, SKW and Inc. are the best overall teams in the AAA leagues.

SkyWest?s Embraer Deal Structured To Attract Contracts

Highlighted from the 5/22 Av/week story

"""Kraupp also says no reductions in the SkyWest 50-seat fleet are “tied directly” to the United deal. “The firming of 40 aircraft with Embraer and United stands on its own merits,” he says."""

Quote: Yeah, being non union would have made PNCL, CMR, and XJT the most successful regionals ever. If you believe that, you are naive.
And ALPA National would move Heaven and Earth for their regional pilots. If you believe that, you are naive.

Sure go ahead and make your straw man argument. I never said anything about ALPA national moving anything for anyone. My simple point is that all of those places where better off by having union than they would have been without one. If you think that any bk judge or any of those managements would have made it better then you are being naive.

So SkyWest announces it won an RFP and will buy a lot aircraft....and for some reason we have a bunch of guys on here that feel like they need to start throwing rocks at skywest pilots. It seems there are a lot of guys on here that just root for skywest to fail, but seriously, learn to have some class and shut your mouth or spew your pathetic negativity elsewhere

This happens everywhere, Skywest pilots are not exempt from it either.

The best part is the guys that would bash RAH pilots because of the "engines under the wings" will now be first in line to bid it.

Eh, maybe... Many senior cats don't want to go to training for the same pay as the 900 which they're already on. If anything, it'll be a pay decrease because now they go back to 75hrs for the duration o training.

I haven't heard bashing of RAH pilots of because of engine location. I have heard people bash RAH management for the treatment, pay and QOL they offer their pilots...

Yeah, I haven't heard RAH pilots being singled out just because of the engine under the wing thing. There just seems to be a real small group of pilots who feel that way across company lines.
