I can't imagine anyone at SKW bidding for it unless it pays more than what they are flying or they can get a better domicile. Unless somebody is just bored and wants to do a training event....
Actually it might be a good move for anyone who been stuck here for years and wants to move on, it would show that you're still trainable.

Although, I wouldn't mind learning a newer avionics package that is similar to the aircraft at the next level

, oh, and the 170-175 is still and will always be a REGIONAL jet not a transitional jet!! Who came up with that!?

First I heard of that was an Asa/sure jet/xjt pilot called us that on ground. We had a good chuckle in the cockpit and thought the guy was an idiot.
The best part of the 170? Both of our overnight bags have a spot on the flight deck. No overhead bin, no jamming it in that little closet...really that is the best part.

Depends on how they're configured. Most of ours have space behind the captain's seat, but some have this little plastic organizer deal. There isn't any room behind the FO seat because of the observer oxygen and com panel. Oh and of course W&B doesn't consider the bags being there so they are not allowed per the FOM. Maybe OO will be different though.

I spoke with someone within UAL management and was told there for the EWR, IAD and ORD markets. Let's face it there the bases that make the money and that's your new bases. Enjoy EWR will be looking forward to you guys getting a taste of East coast living and a smaller paycheck. You gotta pay your fair share to our indigent, and they do deserve the fruits of your labor. 54% total tax rate is in your future.
