Happened at AA on the 80 fleet, at SWA after their cabin blowout, Allegiant with the over wing exits; we're not alone in this. It happens.
Keep in mind our average passenger doesn't fly much and and their expectation is sometimes skewed...meaning, while certainly unpleasant, these things do happen- and the average business traveler understands this. Most of our customers do not. It's the same guy who says his cousin is in Tampa and says it's sunny and he doesn't understand we're flow controlled due to the massive cold front.
Read an article in one of the news blasts on this and an industry analyst called it right; she said all of the "I'll never fly Spirit again" comments will fade away and they'll forget when the price is right next Spring Break. I have to say that I agree.
