Mediocre Management
The reason for this Post is to expose the corruption of management and how ****ty Elite Airways actually is. First off I would like you pilots and FAs to ask *, *, and his corruption team on how much they profit from the hard work off the backs of Pilots and Flight Attendants. You will be astounded the amount of money they make from NCAA alone. Secondly as a group, you should ask * on his fulfillment of his campaign promise of having 757s on company property. Its been 2 years since the announcement at the Christmas party and no indicators of getting them. Also it has been very hard for Elite Airways to follow the regulations of the FARs by overworking Flight Attendants and Pilots and giving pilots a 8 on 2 off schedule ( One of those days of being a travel day). With the Rigorous flying schedule, the pay is below Regional ***** pay and right above food stamps. Another issue I want to bring up is the downgrade of Captains. The question management should be asking themselves is it from lack of performance by the Captain or the infidelity issues by a certain individual in management punishing a Captain for having a good time (#free*) This is also reoccurring for the Flight Attendants as well. 2 Flight Attendants sticking up for what is right to management and within weeks they are fired. This is the current culture of Elite Airways and unacceptable. As a Group smarten up, get a better job and get out of this ****hole! I maybe fired by Im not ending this fight!!!

Sparkles! Is that you again?
757s at Elite
I'm just a lurker , but the reason Elite may not be getting 757s is because a whole new training syllabus needs to be created, maintenance needs to be trained, etc., and there aren't many 57s out there to acquire right now. The carrier I work for tried to scoop up every serviceable one they could a couple of years ago. Some were sold because they would be too expensive to keep. I know from my own experience that 57s are having pylon cracking problems, along with other things, because they're getting old. On a side note, I'm a CRJ pilot with 2300 hrs. in the 900, could there be an opportunity to fly part-time out of central Florida?
Honest words.
pros: from good to better
- Pay is ok.
- Most Pilots and crews are great.
- Chief pilot is very good person.
- Free heath insurance for individuals.
- During summer lots of days off.
- Flight crews are home based.

cons: from bad to worse

-per diem is a joke (35$ a day).

-Annual pay raise was never paid.. reason is ever there was a pay increase. so basically they pay u one thing and take the the other.

- Family heath insurance is outrageous.

-401 plan is useless.

- Crew schedulers are flight attendants that were made schedulers they basically have no clue of what they are doing. they have their favorites which they take all the good trips and the rest got the crappy stuff and its very obvious and no one does any thing about it. ( worse department in company and maybe in the whole industry) . so much company is wasted because of this department.

- No schedule ( The program was cancelled after the only good professional scheduler was fired because she was fair and established a just schedule system)

- Not even hard days to bid for( also cancelled because schedulers are too lazy to set it)

- No future plans for growth , most existing CRJ 200s are broken with plans to fix them only 1 operational. the 57s seems like a huge myth.

advice to management
1- Take care of the pilot group and know time has changed the pilots you are losing left and right are very valuable asset .

2- change the schedulers and hire professionals they are one of the main reasons u are loosing pilots.

3- Adjust your pay system including perdeim , give the pilots there well deserved annual pay.

4- consider few bonuses to bring new pilots and keep the existing ones.
I’m curious on why the Company Amex is declining frequently and making the pilots use their personal credit card for company expenses? Also I saw 3 airplanes in Melbourne with no engines? Going belly up yet? Must be those 757s that are coming.
Don't worry about your schedule, bid gives you 10 on 4 off . Chances are you'll get reemed by scheduling at least once. But Don't worry though, the amazing salaries provided definitely make up for all of this. It's merely 25k below industry average for Capts it's totally worth it, no annual raises and half the average per diem pay. Also a couple more questions, why did your Amex go out again today? Paying off the interest so you have a little balance to pay for fuel? Why are you losing 5-6 colleges contracts for next year? Is it because you can’t supply the demand or are guys are just unreliable?
Those RJs don't have ADSB and it's my understanding that there's a wait list. I also know for a fact it's quite expensive to retrofit. As of now, there will be no relief on the mandate Jan 2020 -no one anticipates any either. I'm curious how all these ACMI operators with older planes will adjust -Elite Airlines included.

On that note, to a prospective applicant can someone tell me about job security and company financial stability? Future growth / business model plans? Always seem to be sifting through disgruntled pilots and keyboard jokers on this site these days...
