It's not a matter of sacrificing their jobs. That's the illusion that management wants you to believe. Envoy alone has returned over 200 block hours of flying to AA the past few months because WE CAN NOT STAFF IT. Make no mistake, it is far more expensive to fly a 737 or S80 on a route, even with less frequency. AAG needs the feed, and the pilots. They will merge the regionals before they liquidate, because they know they won't get a majority of those pilots back.

If you have to ask then question..... then you are not.

In my class there were retired USAF, current 121, prior 121, current 135 pilots and some CFIs there. At the time of the interview my credentials were; Freight Dawg, ATP cert, 1 type, 3700TT, 2000ME and over 1000 Turbine PIC. I'd be the first to admit, there is a lot for me to learn, but I'm no noob.

Why go to PDT when there are better company's?
