Immediate start for EMB 145 Pilots?

They do not have a 121 certificate from what I know. They are running ads seeking a 121 Chief Pilot.

Assuming this is just another low paying potential whipsaw, just think what would happen if nobody went and worked at this airline. Pilots do have a choice.

But they're going to buff the jets until they're shiny!

Who in there right mind would invest in a start up airline flying 50 seat RJ's in this environment? Why not just buy a bunch of Powerball tickets? At least you can go to bed at night thinking there might be a chance.

With gas as low as it is and predicted to be, combined with as cheap as it will be to lease a mothballed 50 seater, I'd say it's not a bad business plan if you can get labor cheap enough.

We'd be better off if some weak pilots had no choice.

They have 4 EMB 120s now flying casino flights, college sports teams, and subsidized service to small markets.

I think I've seen some of their EMB-120s on the hardstand in CLT. Checked to see if it was one of the -120s I started in with Comair.
