The negotioating committee should be embarrassed. This is just a push thru contract because so many have less than 10 years left and don't give a **** about anyone else.

There are no new work rules, no rig, no min day, no new scheduling language, no retirement, healthcare is up, and the list goes on.

Next your gonna say but it's "ACMI" you think our customers or our contractors charge us any less?

We were not "X" legacy carrier, so we can't compare us vs. them. Actually we make larger margins per airframe then they do.

If they're all in and our union is led to believe there's nothing left on the table, then to the picket line we go to get what we deserve. Clearly mgmt is interested in taking it that far.

Multiple legacy, and national carriers have all achieved industry leading contracts and it was actually done professionally.

K4 is actually a great company with great employees. We just need new mgmt.

We're worth more. Vote NO! And put them back to work!
Jeez, you sure are pretty critical of these guys. I wonder, would you be able to get a better deal? If so, maybe you should reach out to the guys and volunteer some of your time. JMHO

And Code Red......
Your comments seem to suggest that the guys with less than 10 years to go should be sacrificing their last remaining years to help the junior guys who have lots of time left and by all rights should be applying to a major. Pay your dues pal!

Look another narrow minded self-centered pilot. What surprise.

An industry leading contract is for the betterment of everyone and the industry as a whole. If you have to take a few steps back to take ten forward then so be it.

Hey Code Red, I was about half way up the seniority list on the 400. My average for the last three years working no overtime has been a little more then 78 hrs of pay without trying (Line guarantee months included) Why with the limit on unpaid 1/7's, A duty status or 1/7 having to be assigned if off my line would this be a bad deal? Seems like I will make quite a few more dollars without even trying? Is there something hiding in the contract that we are unaware of?

The company was abusing the 1/7 issue. My opinion we should get paid for 1/7s. If I'm at work I should be getting paid.

Code Red, The TA is the TA. It is that simple. Either vote yes or vote no. If what you say is true, (and it could well be) regarding pilots with less than 10 years, so what? If the majority of pilots accept the TA it passes. Everyone is hiring right now. If this place is so bad, the TA is bad, and your quality of life is so bad why do you stay here? I am very supportive of a dissenting opinion but find your constant attacks on your co-workers to be a bit disturbing.

With the new contract implemented I really cant see a scenario that puts me below 80 with the soft credit rules? Ive averaged like I said a little more then 78. The only months that bring my average down are training months and vacation. Otherwise I would be higher. Most senior guys I talk with that bid double crew lines or high value lines make considerably more. Why would implementing this contract cost me money? (supposive limit now on un paid 1/7s, and duty status or 1/7 now has to be assigned mandatory) What am I missing here??
