Just like in the 1990’s CRJ guys vs E120 guys. We only had 10 jets. I thought i would never be captain on the Jet. Doomed to the E120 for life...
Thats been going on for decades... 1997 Air Wisconsin pay Vs. ACA...late 90’s Comair vs Eagle.. there have always been carriers paying more. Then they go away and the next one rises up.. SkyWest is having there turn at the bottom..

+1 for the ALPA is not the magic key to a good contract. The fiasco of American Eagle ALPA in 2012/2014 left a bad taste in my mouth about ALPA.
I also think it’s a conflict of interest for ALPA to represent major airlines as well as regional airlines. They obviously get the majority of their income from the majors. Thus when push comes to shove they’d rather see the majors do well and sacrifice the regionals QOL to make sure it happens.
