You know better. Not until up to the minute of calling the reserves to go pick up those 175’s will they announce jack… But as previously posted, jokes aside, I’d bet it happens at earnings.

My best guess is LAX, then ORD. I’ve heard some rumors of a potential PHX 175 base.

Arriving in the country from Brazil from August 1 or scheduled pax flights from August 1? Could have sworn I heard an mx guy saying the first ones are already on property getting prepped to go.

I went back and looked at the phrasing and when matched to the reference to -700s coming on property(being painted) vs actually flying routes, it seemed like AUG 1 for being delivered vs JAN 1 for being “in service”.
But I heard the same rumors.
Buttttt

In the most SkyWest way ever, randomly 5 minutes ago, we just announced an ERJ 175 IAH base.

We wouldn’t have it any other way than to receive a random email out of the blue for a rumor that’s been out for over year.

I know we will have a lot of 175 Houston commuters that are jumping for joy today, congrats.

Good news for Houston people. Which base out there was doing the Houston flying? Phrased another way, which base is this “bad news” for?

I’ve seen crews from DEN/ORD/SLC/SFO flowing through. I doubt any one domicile will be hurt too badly.
