Thanks for taking the time to write out all the details. I really appreciate it. It all makes sense and I understand now.
Is there a way for those of us awaiting our class date to access a PPM so we can start reading up and self-answering some of our questions? I know new revisions can come out, but the vast majority of policies and procedures will likely stay the same over the next few months, so it's not like trying to learn call-outs or systems training.

Very simple math: Training Pay is 65 hours per month at the 1st year FO rate. Once IOE begins, then you go to 76 hours a month. Scroll down to the Payscale section here:

How long is your total wait for IOE? Are you CRJ or ERJ?

Train fresh here for your interview.
1. A rectifier converts AC to DC. (What is a rectifier?)
2.The controller forgets to turn on the runway lights you go missed and hold. Think about fuel from this point on. You lose communication with the tower. What do you do as they just told you they have now turned the lights back on but lost comm with them?
3. Know how to read a TAF... Do you need to file an alternate if our ETA is at 1430z...?
4. Captain don't want to put her seat belt on as you start descending. What do you do? She decides to put it on but at 1,000 feet she takes the seat belt off again. Sterile cockpit question ya think?
5. Mack tuck is when the drag of shock wave causes the center of pressure to move aft and nose to drop. This causes airspeed to increase even more now that gravity is pulling nose down. (What is mack tuck?)
6. Brief a Jepp approach. Simple ILS with vectors.
7. Advantage of a swept wing is less drag. Disadvantage is more airspeed is needed for lift. There are leading edge slats to correct the disadvantage and create more lift at a lower airspeed.
8. Vso is stall speed in landing config. A stall can happen at any airspeed don't forget. V1 is airspeed when you are committed to the takeoff. (what is Vso? What airspeed does an airplane stall? What is V1)
9. Suck squeeze bang spit. (Explain the principles of a turbine engine)
10. Don't turn the fuel on too soon when starting a turbine...IDK, forgot what this is called already sorry. Watch N1 to a certain percentage add fuel. (What can go wrong when starting a turbine engine?)
11. What else do you like to do besides fly?
12. Tell me your favorite joke.
