Does anyone know if ERJ FO new-hire classes are starting every 2 weeks or is it every 3 weeks?

No. SAPA will not go to bat for you against FAA/NTSB.

The company may go to bat for you, or they may throw you under the bus. It really just depends on whether it makes sense for them to try to pin it on you or not, but it's really just 100% situational.

However, ALPA at the regional level isn't going to do much for you either. People act like ALPA is this big juggernaut with real influence, but the reality is that it's a loose association of unions that acts like nothing more than a lobbying agency in Washington DC.

Legit question...as myself and many of my coworkers want to know.

Why do you leave the cabin lights on majority or all of the flight?

Nothing like taking a 2hr flight at 8pm and the cabin lights are on 75% of the time..if not the entire flight.

So we can see where your hands are and if you're wearing the mask.

Any truth to the rumors going around that OO will have significant (50%) contraction soon?

probably a better question for the FAs. Guess I don’t deadhead late/early enough to ever notice.

also no rumor I’ve heard as far as shrinking 50%. That’s one of the crazier ones too. More so than reopening atl or clt or any east coast base.

Skywest is still grabbing all the flying they can and bringing in more planes. No plans for contracting. I'd say there's plans to gobble up other regionals.

Nope. It's a mess over there now but their business model is to push their planes and crews to the max and then push them a little a further to grab market share.

The next time you’re on a DH operated by Skywest take that question up with the FA(s). I’m sure you know that though, don’t you?
