For sure. I’m just talking a quick same day DEN>SLC turn or something similar (assuming no forecasted bomb cyclone approaching).

There was something called soft-landings where you kept pay-rate? Not sure if that’s still a thing.

Trying to decide my future with the regionals but looking to get a straight answer about a worst-case scenario event. Say god forbid I got into an incident/accident that required legal representation at OO, with OO not having ALPA protection, is there a particular company that y'all use for pilot insurance that would cover you if the FAA came knocking? I've been told about SAPA and the internal representation but nothing in regards to an external representation. Thanks!

So SAPA is going to bat for you if the FAA/NTSB gets involved? I was told that SAPA only works as a moderator between you and the company, not you and the FAA. If you do not have legal representation through ALPA, are there other options that OO pilots utilize that provide legal counsel, not just another pilot that got elected for a position? I've seen the AOPA pilot protection services but it does not seem to offer much.
