At this point there’s no reason for you to come here. Go to Mesa where you’ll make $100 an hour and will be able to be Phoenix based

PHX is senior at Mesa. He’ll be able to hold it or a SoCal base quicker at SkyWest.

This used to not be true. CRJ had significantly better base picks and upgrade times but now, having flown both, and how fast IOE times are on the ERJ , you are 100% correct.

what's the latest on IOE wait times in the ERJ? I have class in nov.

Can confirm, as posted above, 3-14 day wait. It’s quick, I’m some cases quicker than you may want after LOE!

Ok, thank you for the perspective. Although, with the new Mesa Airlines pay it may be a moot point but I appreciate your response. Commuting would be a bit more tolerable with a bit better pay.

For people with more knowledge than me, is my hope realistic at all? Do any new hire FO's ever get these locations or should I just expect to commute from Southern California for a few years?

ERJ Captain in LAX is currently at 14 months. Getting it as an FO won't take years.

Took me 2 months. YMMV

Phoenix base is available on the ERJ?

Not yet at least.

Envoy opening a PHX base...encroaching on OO territory.

Does this make PHX OO 175 base more likely? Less likely? Same sort of likely?

How many PHX based OO pilots just scheduled their interview/orientation?

Also, the seniority list clerk got back from labor day....another 40+ gone from OO over the weekend...OOF.
