I’m not affiliated with a OO, so not sure what you mean by ‘fake union.’ I’m also really curious what kind of repercussions you are referring to? UA’s operation will be directly affected, forcing management to step in in UALPA’s ridiculous decisions.

From my understanding, UAL just changed the priority that they assign the JS to. The new order puts UAL pilots first, UAL exclusive regionals second, and all others last (this includes Mesa, Republic, and Skywest).
The official stance from the Skywest pilot group is to deny the JS to UAL and UAL exclusive pilots.
At least that's what I got from it. It is my day off, so my English might not be up to ICAO standards atm.

Inability to ensure we are following the FOM priority for flight deck access because the gate agent software will now violate it for those particular two groups. Violating the FOM is technically an FAA enforceable violation.
*Just explaining the reasoning given by SAPA and the official letter so don’t shoot the messenger.

Mesa guy here....nobody is getting denied the Jumpseat. It’s just the priority has been redone. United pilots are the same as Delta to us now. And when we Jumpseat on them, we’re also at the bottom of their list. Certainly no Out and out denials though.

Why tho... If you think these mainline gods give a rats ass about our priority, you're grossly mistaken... If the shoe was on the other foot they'd leave us behind and not bat an eye. Frankly, they were already doing it.

LOL management and a pilot union are two totally separate entities. Management couldn’t care less about their pilot groups until this starts affecting UA’s operation negatively, then I guarantee something will change. On a side not UA could never get rid of YX and OO, who is gonna full the flying void? These two regionals make up the majority of the UAX operation.

Just for clarification, does this decision by SAPA apply to ALL of our flights or just United side?
