After 10+ years at Skywest I learned two things.
1. Don’t trust the lifers.
And
2. Don’t trust the SAPA exec board.

No, Delta wholly owns a regional which they reciprocate with each other. Then ALL non own metal Delta/ DC parties are TOC on Delta Connection. One small difference and one big difference.
SkyWest and wholly owned express jet had the same agreement before the sale.
United wants an Airwisc (exclusive non wholly owned) pilot to have priority on GoJet (non exclusive) jumpseat over a SkyWest guy. This would supersede TOC.

Pinnacle, Mesaba and Colgan all had different agreements with either Delta or United even though all 3 were owned by Pinnacle Corp.
This all sounds like it’s been going on in the industry for a long time.

Just a quick FYI. If we are denied access to a Republic or SkyWest JS ALPA wants us to act professionally but get the crews names and employee numbers. We don’t need to meet you to get your names if you are operating an UAL express flight. All the info we need is on our company iPads.
One more tidbit of info.... all United interview Capt’s and FO’s are line pilots. I know that there are some lifers out there but you might not want to become a lifer over a bad decision like this one.
Cheers
P.S. you are welcome on my JS in the new and correct order.

That is why your threat (and what others have insinuated) are so funny. You would never hire somebody who has went against their own pilot group in the past.

Got an email from the director of flight ops at midnight, we will be subject to certificate action if we do not comply with the order......... I'm not happy about this at all, I had every intention of ignoring this BS but now I can't.

Taking names to eventually bring up to a hiring board over a jumpseat argument?
If someone like that took my name down explicitly for that reason im going to bring a good lawyer.
Keep FOs (that want to move on) out of this for doing what theyre told by their leadership.
Besides, l’m sure the executive branch will be pleased to find out why a larger pool of pilots arent making it through the interview for non skill/personality related reasons while they go to the other competitors.

This is all hypothetical....... I’m not saying this could or couldn’t happen.
Just imagine sitting across from a UAL interview Capt or FO and realizing you had kicked them off the JS. How about they were just kicked off the JS by a different SkyWest or Republic pilot. What do you think is going through their head during that interview. Do you think they might be a tad bit distracted thinking about getting denied the JS and here is a pilot from the same group that just declared war on UAL pilots.
I don’t know for sure but I would hate to be in a position where a UAL pilot was treated poorly and he controlled my future..... he/she doesn’t need to give you a reason for thanks but no thanks.
The poor decisions of a few among your pilot group has the potential to do a lot more harm than good. Something to think about anyway.

I’m guessing you wouldn’t need to bring a lawyer with you to the interview because you simply would never be called for one.

Maybe we should stop worrying about our careers and try to not be so spineless. Not getting hired at United because I followed my FOM? Okay. What will happen when I get to United and go against what UALPA says? Let the beatings begin. Go against UALPA and you’ll find yourself on a list. Why should it be any different with SAPA?

You never answered my question. Would you hire a pilot who knowingly went against their Union and pilot group? Are those the values United looks for in an applicant? You sound like you went straight from the Lear Jet to the majors and are oblivious of what being a Regional pilot is all about and what it is like being part of a collective Union. Understandable for a Part 135 pilot
Which one would catch your attention more?
