I think the earliest we’d hear anything would be after the end of the month. Supposedly the agreement with SAPA regarding VTO and other leaves expires then. But that’s just rumors.

Same here: Applicant page states no submission for a current job. I think they cleaned the slate after a year on file. Mine went from (Submitted, Under Review, Hidden, then to not submitted for a current posting) No CJO, but just a call from HR that stated we will call you next week to set up an interview and then shutdown hit....No word since March 14th, 2020. I will resubmit when the career page posts the Pilot Job along with all the other applicants.

Then it sounds like all CJO’s are removed and you will have to reapply. I really hope they honor the CJO’s, but at the same time we have plenty of furloughed pilots on the street too.

I’m in the same situation with Envoy. Had a class date in the spring last year. Just like with you poolies. We have not been told jack about what the current plans are. I’ve been applying to all the regionals that are hiring now and I highly suggest you folks do the same right now.

Well what about this then?

Honestly APC forum rumors are just that: I remember in January when people on here had some kind of info and claimed the training recall for the new hires was cancelled.(spoiler it wasn’t)

So don’t take anything here as a certainty. People get told from a friend who heard from a friend who heard from a friend. The message gets diluted.

I can tell you that is bad gouge.

There are 220ish trainees of which 80ish are back at it. No further classes are scheduled but rumors abound about May & June. Mgmt spoke to cleaning this group up by the end of June.

IMHO news that the company is updating files as good news for all prospective candidates. The sleeping bear has awoke! Those old CJOs were going to need new interviews no matter what. The company has your number, perhaps you'll get first crack at first opportunities. Would not be surprised if HR will use the same internet-based-first-interview tech that PSA does. No company was in limbo over the last year. Opportunity to change and improve processes.

Flood gates open this summer.

What is more likely is that the CJO's just automatically expired at the 365-day mark, and the pool got automatically dumped. I doubt anyone is actually going in there right now and looking at the files of people who had CJOs.

Company actually already was doing a few remote interviews pre Covid , but only in special circumstances.

My interview was scheduled the day after everything got called off. They switched it to an online interview via Zoom and then it was cancelled all together. Wouldn't doubt they start the interviews that way at first.
