Did you ever get a hold of anyone? If so, what’d you find out? What’d you decide? I’m in the same boat as you... I got a part 135 gig on the jets starting soon...I accepted right before I got the email from Skywest.

I'm also curious. Hope they get back to us soon. Personally if the 135 is a good looking deal, I'd take that.

I'd guess it'll be another month until we hear anything since the last class of pilots who got sent home from training will be mid May. They will probably resume classes in June.

they are now hiring CRJ ground and Matrix instructors. Thats a good sign they will run classes soon. (Can’t qualify them when no classes running) although i suspect classes will be hot and cold. Maybe few classes then a break. Then more later as needed. And defiantly not large classes.. smaller based off attrition.. 30-40 a month would be my guess..

Isn't that what they are doing right now? About 30 a month

Latest rumor from the schoolhouse is 80 per month for the rest of the year starting late May. Not sure if it’ll start with old CJOs or they’ll start over. A lot of union guys from other regionals have a really dim view of OO due to the fact we aren’t unionized, so I’m not sure if they’ll prefer new guys or guys with type ratings that potentially will have a problem with the non unionized pilot group.

My guess is prior CJO's first, a week ago they sent out texts and emails asking if applicants are still interested and if their medical is still valid.

Just got an email to do a self paced interview online. CJO holder, interviewed in early 2020.

I just got an e-mail as well from Skywest for the self paced interview. Anyone know what to expect? I watched the two intro videos on the main page but I am hesitant to click log in incase it jumps right into it.

I got the same email and took a 135 job after covid. I am worried that if I get a class date and then leave the 135 job before being here for a year, they will check the ineligible for rehire box when skywest checks previous employment history. No training contract with the 135, but if your not there for a year, you won’t be eligible for rehire. My biggest fear is they pull me out of training and send me home after seeing the ineligible box checked.
