Can someone clarify the rough timeline for an ERJ hopeful starting training in Nov?
Starting w/ CTP/ATP first week in Nov. Then after Indoc (starting 3rd week) would mean ground school starting 4th week in Nov till 2nd week in Dec. Sims in DEN until end of Dec?
Anyone know what to expect for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years if anything?
I know everyone's timeline may differ by a week or so, but I was told to expect 3 months of training from INDOC on... That seems like a very long timeline. Nov to end of Jan 2022 and maybe be reserve in February?

Started Indoc first week of Nov and had my checkride Jan 8 - with weekends off, week off between ground and procedures and then another week off between procedures and sims. Everyone's times will be different after ground school as your procedures and sims schedules will vary.

I have the same timeline as you for the ERJ.
From the previous posts and recent training experiences i have gathered a rough timeline, maybe someone can chime in and rectify if needed.
Nov 8th - 14th ATP/CTP Dallas
-Week Off-
Nov 22nd INDOC starts but heard it's (tue-tue) so Nov 23rd - Nov 30th
*Btw not sure if INDOC is still virtual from home or will have to be in Denver so if someone can fill in?
Rest of the week off again
Followed by 10 days of ground (Mon-Fri) and weekends off.
Ground timeline 6th Dec - 17th Dec
Followed by Sim (15 days with 5-9 days off in between)
So expect to get off somewhere in Mid Jan.
P.s good question about the new year holidays in between. I have no clue but maybe calling skywest travel we can get a better picture.

Don't call the travel department about that as thats not what they do. That is a question for the training department. And they might not even really say. The only time you will really know your schedule is when you bid for sim slots during ground. Then your slot will show you if you have the holiday off or not. If I had to guess the actual days of thanksgiving and Christmas will be off, but only those. Which would make it pretty hard to go home and come back within 24 hours. And its possible that they will still run the training on the holidays becasue they have to keep people moving. When I went through training my differences class was on July 4th even though its a company holiday.

Training Date Trade?
Hello all. This is my first post. I have a sim training date in the ERJ-175 January 4th in Denver. I have been emailing the recruiter for an earlier date to no avail. This is a far reach, but any chance someone has an earlier date than January but would prefer a later date? If so, it could be possible to trade. Has anyone had success with this before?

Can’t help you with that, but welcome! We have the same class date, (I’m guessing your CTP is 12/21?). I’ve got a question, it’s now within 90 days but I haven’t gotten an email yet on further registration items other than the initial onboarding form sent weeks ago. Is this normal or should I email someone? (90 days before 12/21 is 9/23), have you gotten an email? And good luck!
