If you want atl come to endeavor....might not get it right away but could within 6 months. Flying isnt terrible unless you're on the 200 then yeah 5 legs a day for 4hrs of pay is highly possible. Also if you do have to commute we have the best commuting policy out there.

I would never suggest commuting at a regional. I did not grow up in Illinois nor have any family in the area, yet I’m domiciled and live in Chicago. It’s phenomenal QOL at OO, If you live in base. I’d suggest making a list of your priorities and rank them. If being being close to family is your number one choice I’d suggest applying to 9E. If you’re willing to move to one of OO’s many bases I’d most definitely recommend SkyWest. Btw the regional flying out of ATL sucks.

No one knows anymore. It used to be 12-18 months (however long it took a newhire to get 1000hrs 121 and 2500 total time). Fringe cases where guys came in with other airline/industry hours and upgraded in a few months or even in class. This whole last year of COVID has artificially added a year of seniority for upgrades and time to hold a base, so it'll be a while. However, CRJ will still be faster. I suspect within the next 12 months we'll be seeing normal passenger loads, and within 24 months every airline will be hiring, retiring, and growing like the leadup to 2019.
