CRJ IOE Wait times unacceptable

Yep. And that might even require a trip back to the schoolhouse. But since someone is being paid TO DO NOTHING they could probably keep their knowledge base up by going on a few observation flights. Might even learn what the problems ON THE LINE really are rather than just spouting ignorance, arrogance, and entitlement online to people who have been in this business a lot longer than (insert appropriate pronoun here) has..

All, looking back and reading your replies I feel
I owe SkyWest and all of you an apology.
You already know I’m genuinely frustrated by the delay, but looking back this wasn’t the right place or method to express that. I absolutely definitely entitled and arrogant and I thought venting here on an anonymous forum would just sort of disappear into the void of the internet, but I realize that doesn’t mean being negative on here doesn’t have an effect. Again for what it’s worth I genuinely apologize.

Can't imagine many people are thrilled to go back to sims (for another evaluation) after just finishing months of training when the alternative would be on line flying

It's not thrilling, but he's got a great gig going on right now, getting paid to not work. All he has to do is go back to the sim for some more low-threat train to proficiency stuff. Not "unacceptable" by any means.

Or go somewhere where it is more acceptable?
oh wait - it’s worse elsewhere …

You’re right honestly, I was having a moment when I posted this thread. Things obviously outside their control have complicated training. And all in all, I get paid to do nothing which how can you complain about that. Looking back I really needed an attitude check.
