We should get a clause like that too so when envoy snaps back we will get 10% ontop of that

We need a clause stating we will be the highest paid pilots measured by flight hour wage when it comes to specific companies (envoy, endeavour, Mesa, horizon, commutair, republic) That way when any of them get a raise, we will still be doing better
Imagine that recruiting tool SGU

Classic new hire. Someday you will get to mainline after multiple contracts and hear the words “it’s not about rates” come out of your mouth.

Look around, NOBODY else voted in their pay raise. We need QOL as much as we need pay. The market WILL provide the pay…maybe under a bigger bonus structure that can happen without a vote. That would mean no qol, no 401k and no healthcare improvements. Stop acting like sulky children to effectively present yourselves and our valid arguments as adults who professionally fly the flying public.

for now. The pilots don’t care either and most haven’t noticed. They are too busy talking about bicycles on the sapa forums when it comes to TAs.

TA 2.0 is Finished

TA 2.0 is finished following a meeting between the SAPA NC and management in SGU earlier this week.

On the weekly SAPA conference call it was shared that the revised TA is being presented to all of SAPA tonight and if approved it will be made available to the pilot group on Monday.

“Maybe earlier than Monday. I mean gosh we’re going to be working all weekend on the presentation. So if we can get it done sooner we’ll share it sooner. But Monday is sort of a goal for me. Maybe late Monday night. You know. We’ll be working on the PowerPoint all weekend and we don’t want to half ass it. So Monday is a personal goal for me. Also I have to go to DC next week for a safety conference and I want to be able to hold my head high around our peers,” said SAPA President AA.

No details of the TA were shared but AA added, “We’ve worked on the main points that the group came back with. But you need to keep it in the realm…er…you know we’re not going to get 5 or 6 hour MDG. That’s just not market.”

The conference call was ended after taking one question from the participants, which asked if a summary of the changes to the TA could be shared sooner than 5 days after approval. This suggestion was summarily rejected.

Presumably the organizers will wait until after a TA is approved before filing. Status Quo and all that.

Poverty

I sit and wonder how FOs make it work in San Francisco and LA when Chip Child’s pays highly skilled FOs poverty wages for all the blood sweat and years we put into this to get to this level. Inflation has changed the ballgame. Either pay the FOs 100$ an hour, or we vote with our feet and go fly an airbus with animals on the tail with an 15% direct contribution along with a livable wage with bases in low tax states.

That’s hilarious. Go on with your poverty wages. You don’t qualify for food stamps like the pilots that went before you did.
