I have also received a SAD for going home after I was released after a reflow that ended earlier than my original trip. They decided they wanted me to do another MKE turn after I was on my way home. Needless to say I didn't pick up the phone and got a nice little red slip on my schedule.
RG in ORD took care of it for me though. Great guy!

Well, I'm guessing it was pretty difficult. At least an 8. Do you have any idea how hard it is to purchase a enough boost mobile minutes without a drivers license to get to the local 7/11? Not to mention making up all those flights at ATP Flight School to fill up the ol' logbook to 15 Hundo.
The key of being on reserve here is knowing the FAA regs and the policy manual. CS isn't perfect but at the end of the day their job is to staff flights, not to screw you over. I am by no means a kool aid drinker, but this job is leaps and bounds better than many other regionals out there and I think a lot pilots lose sight of that. Coming from 135- even sitting reserve here was a huge quality of life increase. Show up, fly the jet, go home.
First off, my ATP education was great, never instructed for them but did instruct for over 2000 hours at smaller 141 schools, second my interview at Mesa was not over until I passed IOE. You two are silly for feeling extra special that your interview was filled with outdated methods and time killers before you were even given a class date. But I can't fault you 100% for being brainwashed by the Mormon Airforce to have a sick superiority complex.

"Outdated methods and time killers" ELOHEL.
SKW has lowered its bar for sure......but.....the facts are the guy emptying the fryer at Burger King went though a tougher interview than you did to fly a super sikk jetttttt. Not to mention the whole "training is an interview" rebuttal. Which by admission of your own home boys is a, "very, very forgiving" environment. The recipe for another Colgan has been whipped up, who knows when that buzzer is going to ding.
