They seem to be running 1 class of around 30 CRJ new hires and 1 class of approx. 10 Brasilia new hires every month. You will be assigned an aircraft when they give you the initial offer for the job (at least that's how it was for me). I was in the August 29th CRJ class, and out of the 28 guys in our class, 14 guys got ORD, 10 got MSP, and 4 got COS. For the Brasilia guys, 4 got PSP, 2 LAX, 2 PDX, and 1 FAT. It doesn't appear that the people in the Sept. 26th have been awarded their bases yet. We were awarded our bases halfway through sim training.

I don't do it, but know someone who does, and have occasionally tried to non-rev through MSP...
IT SUCKS. It's a DL hub on both sides, running only 5 narrow bodies a day. All mainline. As SLC is a senior mainline base, a lot of SLC locals commute to the other hubs for work (in the hopes that in a few years they can hold home SLC), and when ALL DL MAINLINE EMPLOYEES even a brand new one with no seniority boards before you as connection employee do, IT EQUATES TO MAJOR SUCK.
Don't do that commute, if you commute between hub cities, make it different airlines hubs on either side, not the same airline. This scenario always sucks.

Man, you Skywest guys are hiring gang busters! How is it going filling classes, and what is the driver for all of this?

So based on Q3 results, it appears that Skywest is losing money & Express Jet continues to be a contributing factor.
