Sure, enjoy your life. Most people would probably be pretty happy with yours.
I'd also suggest this - If you're that unhappy, then go do something else. There are still plenty of opportunities out there for those that want to change careers. Good luck, I hope you find what you're looking for.
BTW... Do you even work ay SkyWest, or are you at Pinnacle?

Haha, I find myself talking to so many guys that are unhappy. Its like buying a sports car then complaining about the uncomfortable seats.

I'll spell it out. JAM posted.......
Based upon this logic Colorado Springs and Palm Springs should close since Mx can still flow a/c through without the pilot domicile and given their proximity to DIA and LAX.
My point? He's using logic to close a base that operates UAL and DAL flights because of a US base opening up doesn't hold much weight. If TUS closes it's due to SKW continuing attempt to close outstation domiciles in order to consolidate their pilots in HUB cities. This assists in running a thinner operation. PHX only assisted in the demise of TUS because it helps them relocate senior pilots without paying the high price of a base closure.

I don't think TUS will be closing all that soon, rather the SLC EMB base.

I actually agree, TUS doesn't have to close just yet. They can allow the numbers to be reduced over time as pilots bid out and not replace them. Since we run TUS from LAX, SFO, SLC, DEN and soon to be PHX they still have avenues to flow the remaining crewmembers into the UAL, DAL and US systems.
As for SLC EMB, I understand that some of the EMB routes are moving to the RJ but not all of them. IMO which accounts for nothing, I don’t see the SLC EMB base closing in 2012. Although we do know Chip-Away was quoted as saying “the SLC EMB base will be closed by Apr 2011” (which didn’t happen) so it's obviously on his “things to do” list. But with that being said SKW is no longer the SKW we remember and they remind us of that regularly. SLC EMB, TUS CRJ, PSP CRJ/EMB and SBP/SMX EMB are all on the chopping block. SKW has made it known that they want to be more centralized to better utilize their crewmembers, this means adios to outstation bases. Example: SAN, CRQ, SBA, SMF, MRY all gone in the last few years all without a real decrease in ops.

Anyone that was in the Dec 26 RJ class hear anything about a new class date? I got the letter about a week ago saying the classes have potentially changed but have heard nothing since. Rumor going around about Jan 23, but nothing official
