Just out of SkyWest recurrent...the unofficial word at the house is solid hiring, upgrade, and transitions through June 2012. We've hired more than 400 this year so far while losing only about 140 (1/2 of which were FOs).

I am a newbie with Pinacolaba, but the only losses I know of are CAs, or at least filks with TPIC, going onto bigger and better things. I am surprised Skywest is losing so many FOs. Thanks for the reply.

I interviewed back in July. At the interview I was asked which aircraft I would prefer and even though they only had CRJ classes scheduled, I was told if I wanted the Brasilia, I would be put into the pool. I am from the Midwest so I requested the RJ for the bases. They have had regularly scheduled Brasilia classes running alongside the CRJ classes and recently it seems that the new hire ratio is 3:1 CRJ:Bro. I was in the August 29th class and I am currently in SIM right now. Most of the guys in my CRJ class got ORD, some got MSP, and a couple got COS. As far as the 9 Brasilia guys, 1 got FAT, 2 PDX, 2 LAX, and 4 PSP.
