I would tell you to wait a little while before stressing about it. Unfortunately this happens pretty often. I was told that I would hear news within 5 days after my interview (different airline) and wound up not receiving anything official for almost 3 weeks. My personal suggestion would be to wait until Wednesday at the earliest (a full week since your interview) before calling anyone to ask about it.

...and Delta pilots. It sounds like some guys literally have the mic in their mouth. Perhaps they don't know that the mic can be 2-4 inches from your lips, and the sound quality be fine.

Same goes to the AA MD80 pilots.

They will be "cheaper" because they are efficient in many different areas. Crew compensation is not one of them. SW is not the best paid, but among the best paid...
Hey Genius.... which part of this has 'no facts' to back me up?

Seems like the 80s have the worse radio interference from the windshield heat. Sometimes you hear more squeal than you do voice.

And furthurmore... don't even think you can lecture me about union benifits and history. You don't know a thing about my union stance and activities.

We have to keep reminding guys like you, over and over again, you will never get SkyW pilots to join a union like this. Your tone (and others in this thread) have made it seem like I am inflating the benifits of SkyW. I am not. But you suggesting an inflated importance of your union.

In general, union workers get higher pay, better benifits, and have a better chance at a defined pension, among other benifits. Agreed. But MESA, GoJets, Republic, and many others are unionized and their benifits are not near those at SkyW.

Until you can convince most of the guys at SkyW who came from TSA, Mesa, etc etc who have a bad taste in their mouth about a union, and most of the SLC base, about how a union will benifit them.. you will be blowing in the wind.

Grow up a little, and come up with some ideas about how you get people to believe an enforcable contract will get them more pay and better benifits. Until then, have your union send some of their 'generosity' to the other union shops because they seem to need it more than SkyW.
