You don't need job security at a regional if you have a plan b. Everyone at a regional, including Skywest with whatever job security you think you have there (none), should have a plan b.
I mentioned right in my comment that XJT is one of the regionals with better pay and benefits than Skywest. Other than XJT, crappy pay and benefits is pretty universal among the large regionals. Look at the contracts of the three largest regionals after XJT. Skywest, RAH, Envoy, Endeavor, Mesa.
Ok, I was just taking issue with your use of the word "all" in your statement. Although I think envoy, horizon, awac all have better retirement and health benefits than Skywest.
Typical response in this thread. If you don't like what someone says, tell them nobody likes them and to go away. What's with Skywest pilots' propensity to do that when someone goes against the kool aid?

Actually it was an appropriate response to the guy saying Skywest is the worst offender for undercutting. That was a ridiculous thing for him to say - Captain Obvious

I apologize. I thought he was referring to Skywest pilots flying crj700 for CRJ200 rates for years.
Regardless, it's what you guys do on this thread when someone says something against Skywest you guys don't agree with.

Yes I'm saying other regionals benefits are much better than Skywest. That is no secret. You don't have to look any further than XJT. Why do you think INC ins trying to bring their benefits down to our crappy level? 9E has much better insurance and retirement.
