What a shame, if only ALPA had done something about if before......

If ALPA pulls their head out of their butts and starts representing ALL pilot groups trying to raise the bar for EVERYONE, there WON'T be a pilot shortage.

ALPA can pat themselves on their back all they want, but it's not like the companies said "hey, ALPA IS RIGHT!!!!! We gotta do something!!!!!". It's more like "holy crap, how the heck are we gonna staff!!!!! Offer them money!!!!!!"

So yeah, I read it. And yeah, I've been in ALPA and paying dues a little under half my life time. And yeah, I've been through a furlough, and concessions, and a shut down, and displacements.

But there's enough blame to go around on who pooched the screw on compensation levels. Sorry man, that's just the truth. You can stick you head in the sand and not accept, or acknowledge it. It's your choice.

 

Just checked SWOL,no messaging, just a couple of FOIB notices. No "game on", just you wishing you had a pair.

 

I really hope one of you doesn't get the other fired, because where else am I going to get my in flight entertainment?
