I'm not sure. I'm flying with a lot of guys who have gotten turned down from multiple legacies when they failed the interview. Not looking good for them and a flow would have helped. Everyone assumes they will eventually move on. Not true. Not even close,...many will get left behind unless they chose a less desirable like an LLC or bottom feeder cargo

Well if that is how you feel, here's your chance now at the flow!! Envoy is waiting desperately for you LOL

I can't believe I'm saying this but for once JB22 has a point. Not everyone is going to meet the standards that the majors require. There are plenty of people at the regionals with some checkride failures, no college degree or just people who aren't going to pass the interview. For a lot of people a flow through would be a quicker way to move on.

I'll have the last laughs when I am out and most of you are stuck here until the regional model fails completely and then you'll all be at Loews.

Just make sure you don't convey this type of attitude outside of these forums or you might find your self in the same boat as some of the captains you've flown with in the future.

You got to make your own decision. If ORD is your goal as some of your other posts suggest, I highly recommend the CRJ with SKYW.

The notion that Envoy is remotely competitive in ORD is laughable...

If your are so motivated by monetary incentives, I suggest you pursue another career but aviation - almost any other professional field will have a higher lifetime NPV than flying.

You sound like a great person, a real asset and joy to sit next to on a 4 day.

I know one first year guy who jumped to envoy because he lives in DFW. For the record, that was his third jump.

It's not like the guys at Envoy are stuck there either. They can apply at the other airlines too. I have several friends that have done just that.

SkyWest upgrades are under 2 years and 8 months. Things do change rapidly in this industry, but this is where we are as of right now.
