It's hard to argue with the difference in schedules between the 2 types. 3 to 7 more days off per month makes people do funny things.

I'm curious to see how they'll spin it come August.

Now its that much. In a year that is going to be different. We are overstaffed so we wont be short staffed when all the new 175s get here. I'm not a betting man, but I would bet that come next summer the ERJ schedules are going to look a lot like the CRJ schedules. That extra time is going to go away.

Not sure how you can fit much more than 90 to 100 hours in a month. The pairings are more efficient on the 175, this more time in less days worked.

This whole month I've done 24 credit 3 days or 32 credit 4 days on the CRJ, almost exclusively on the 200 too.

The problem with pairings that efficient is that they're usually locals or 2 days and usually they're non-commutable. Commuters limit themselves and are forced into inefficient 4 days on the CRJ.

The E175 certainly has the better 3 and 4 days but I can do 3 locals per week for 24 credit on the CRJ and be home every night. I also get Delta and American benefits.

"Eight hour credit locals, 24 credit 3 days, and 32 credit 4 days"? Which base?

When do we start discussing a financial benefit anytime company operates below min res staffing.
Yeah it won't happen, but what setups do other companies have?

Are we ever going to address the fact that our FAs make 1.5x on anything above 84 and we don't...?

PDX has 8-hour locals on ERJ, no other high credit trips though.

I'm pretty sure it's not SLC. And if it were they'd only have a very small number of them.

I think it's pretty rare to have any trip credit on average more than 7 hours a day in SLC.
