My guess would be that a type is required. I would get anything like that in writing from a recruiter. They would also be the ones who could tell you for sure.

There are two questions they ask, do you have a type over 12500? Are you currently employed by a 121 or 125 carrier? You can say no to the former and yes to the latter and be eligible for the bonus

somebody in my class got the bonus for being FO on a caravan. any 135 experience

Is the bonus paid yearly, or is it a one time deal?

So ostensibly you're making less money your second year than your first year?

Yes . I was hired at 22/hr. By the time I was on second year pay, new hires were getting 36.50, with 7500 bonuses.

So apparently everyone got the no KCM use during international travel (leisure ) message. United, we did I would assume all airlines. My question is *** and what is do about that?

Most people don't think too far into the future. The airlines love it and can use it to get new hires. Lots of CFIs only look at first year pay and upgrade times. They never look at 2nd, 3rd, 4th year pay or captain pay.

I had a CFI friend once ask me why I wanted to go to Skywest because they paid $22/hour when Republic paid $24/hour. I pointed out that 2nd year pay at Skywest was $37.50 and 2nd year pay at Republic was $29. He had no idea because it never occurred to him to think past first year.

Every new FO can tell me the first year pay at nearly every regional. I've rarely ever met a new FO who can tell me the captain pay or top out FO pay at any regional.
