How long for a new hire to hold a line in COS ?

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

Holding a line at an outstation where you drive to work isn't that big of a deal at Skyw. IF staffed properly reserve can go senior.
Nobody knows the fate of cos as It has been shrinking. But traditionally reserve there for fo's has always been short if the company is actively hiring.
Fa's and captains are stagnant.

Most Jr fo 3/29/16 hire date. That class hasn't even finished sim yet. Or are doing ioe.. Also 2 openings for COS for the current bid.

PHX is 7 months most Jr. PHX has 4 openings this bid and should have some more growth as the UA 700's go to AA... Good guess for a newhire next month is 3-6 months...

I'm looking at the DVR right now and have always wondered if there is a certain way you can tell if you'll be a lineholder in another domicile? Would be helpful to know to make better predictions and life choices

You can make a educated guess by looking where you would be on the seniority list in that domicile and then looking at the Bid info section on the PBS page. The only ? Would be if the lines are the same or better after transfer and how many people senior to you are transferring with you
