Is new hire training at Sky west easier to get through then other regional's or is the training practically the same wherever you go?

I would say SkyWest training is not easier, but they are a lot more helpful to give you the resources to succeed.

Ok I'll bite.

If you show up and put your time in studying and doing everything you can on your end to show them you want to be there and are trainable, they will work with you, to a point, if you have some issues. If you show up and put in a half a**ed effort you will not make it through. Probably goes without saying that all other airlines are about the same.

If you are worried about how easy or hard 121 training is going to be, maybe re-evaluate if you are ready or not for it. Nothing wrong with that, but its better to realize that before you jump in head first.

The training has been setup now mainly to help the incoming flight instructors with no turbine experience. They don't want you to fail, but it's not a cakewalk either. Pick up a copy of the crj200 study guide to help you work your way through the Pilot Reference Manual and study hard and you'll do fine. It's pretty rare to drop out in systems training, but it happens. A couple people in a given new hire class will washout through sim, but even then they have added extra sim sessions to better prepare you for the ATP check ride. You can do it.

Also, you'll have more people to study with at Skywest since most other places are having a hard time attracting anyone.

Modern avionics/jet is the easiest IFR flying I've found out there.
