Don't get me wrong. I have some good friends over at QX and I certainly don't wish their demise. But, if you can't get pilots, you can't fly the airplanes you have - much less new ones. It probably doesn't help when you sue the company that has kept you in business, in spite of industry realities, for several years now.

At some point, they are going to cease being AAGs golden child and I don't think those shiny new "jungle buses" will be going to the desert anytime soon.

It's actually the opposite, Horizon has bailed Alaska out of declaring bankruptcy multiple times in the past. Without Horizon there would be no Alaska. Our union has also bailed Horizon management out several times from mismanaging the company into the ground.
