^^^ agreed!! Its amazing what people complain about on here. Need to remind them when we had to pay for our charts!!!! And update them manualy by hand!!! Yes. By hand. Ourselfs!!! LOL

Interesting we can get away with an 80% charge to begin the day.

I quit messing with hotel wifi on the efb. Prior to a trip and when Siri reminds me to do a jepp update I have Siri set a reminder for the next update date.

I was told (at the hanger) it only needs to be up to date before your trip. (If you have to sign in on swol for the trip) thats why we have the new jepp update that has efective charts now..

This is the word that I've heard but I think the FOM is a bit unclear on this point.

That's what I do but still kind of vague as to whether updated the day before the trip is good enough, or if it needs to be done the day of (after you report for duty. so as not to start FDP early). I think day before is OK since the app now tracks pending Jepp updates and gives you a heads up.

Chip has said he has no problem with 200 airplanes and 2000 pilots if need be to stay profitable. It's going to be quite the reduction when those RJs start leaving.hopefully I will have upgraded. The time is running out.

JB22,

Before that should ever happen, I could name five to seven other regionals that would have to implode first to start worrying about SkyWest. Kudos to the hiring department: they are bringing people in at a rate that I believe is unmatched right now.

Are you guys ever going to stop feeding the troll? It gets really annoying watching the responses to his posts

Right before he said that he said he is ok with 6000 pilots.... and the new DVR is out. The UA 700's. Seem to be finding good homes in MSP and PHX...
