I need some crystal ball help, if a senior-ish wanted to transfer in and out of big bases on a monthly basis, what would you guess the likelihood of getting burned and trapped are?

Estimating that the good times keep rolling.

I wouldn't recommend it... I know there was a rumor of someone speaking to management about flying in ORD not growing. Never believe rumors or you will be burned by something that has no validity

Except now he is over all the Chiefs!!! So not sure how that isnt a good thing.. Hes a great guy!

Maybe RG will reign in some of these chief pilots. He was a great guy and did everything he could to help you as long as you were trying to help yourself.

Is it a rented hanger? Or long term deal? Guess in LAX Compass has AA flying to support also..

SL & RG are two of the best we have. SL isn't getting 'retired' he is off to UPS, loss for SkyW pilots but gain for UPS.

Now to find a replacement for RG.

SL is a great pilot and an even better person. I had high hopes when he was promoted and thought that he could fix some of the perceptions in SGU. Unfortunately, SGU is so isolated from everything that they can live in their own perceived utopia. I know he gave it his best effort to help the pilots but was the lone voice of reason at times.

I'm happy for his new opportunity.
