Quote: Anyone stayed at the Drury in ATL for new hire sims? Is it one small room with two beds or a suite with two rooms?
Dont worry I stayed in the courtyard in CVG for sims, had 2 twin beds in one room for the 2 of us. It only sucks for the first 4 weeks or so then its over! Kinda like college except you cant show up hungover in your PJs. Gotta keep those knots up!
Quote: Yes there's growth but remember that west coast bases are traditionally senior, people are waiting. First they were waiting for delta benefits, that's been ironed out (all west coast bases) and now they are waiting for second delta base and what those schedules will be like. When that's announced and a few months pass where ppl can see pairings you will see transitions of senior people. A lot of people believe a new training event means a call from mainline, plus people are tired of flying 200s
Resurrecting this post, do E175 pilots based in SFO (or LAX or PDX or SEA) get delta-dedicated benefits (I.E. non-rev on mainline for you and a companion) ?

Delta travel benefits suck. Check in for non Rev flights go in order of your seniority ,date of hire.Retirees and mainline delta people, even fa's will have priority over you.If you try to nonrev on delta from Atl,Slc,Lax,or NYC or maybe Dtw,good luck with that.
Anyone with a higher seniority than you can bump you off of the flight at the last minute, regardless of your time of check in.

So it sounds like any other stand by benefits? Some people bags the benefits but I use them all the time and rarely have issues. It's free and I can go see friends, family, or the world for free. Granted, if I had kids things would be different but for two people they're great.
I think Delta allows spouses, but not companions on your travel benefits.

You get your parents and spouse on your delta benefits. If you aren't married you can choose a travel companion.
If you are single, you can have one friend on your Delta benefits. If you are married, then no friend. United, you get two friends if you are single. One friend if you are married.

Actually in my opinion deltas travel benefits are the best we have.
That's not to say you will always get a seat. But I guess that's why it's "space available"

I've had really good luck non-revving on Delta. Even better when it is a Skywest operated flight and I have been given a business class upgrade several times. On our own metal, we get priority over mainline employees.

Everyone bashes our united benefits as well, but I've also had really good luck.
