Really...? Four new bases???

I have a hard time to belief that there will be four more bases. I can see that an argument can be made to have a base in 4+ cities but why would they start up four new at the same time?

It strikes me as very disruptive ....

Thanks for the info! Do you bid to fly just one of the CRJs or do you fly all variants at the same time?

All at the same time, assuming your base has all variants. But you won't mix types within one single day. There are trips that mix the -700 and -900 on separate days, but unless you're on reserve you will not mix the -200 and -700 and/or -900 on one trip.

Disregard.......

A CP told an Indoc class today that SAN and BOI would be announced before the week is out. On the "other new bases" front, it was indicated that there would be big news AFTER the new pilot contract is voted in...

SAPA is trying to negotiate the next pay raise early. I don't think they're getting far. SAN will be a 175 base later this year.

Are you guys serious about SAN becoming a base? Is this just a rumor at this point or does anyone in the know have some concrete evidence of this coming to fruition? Could be life changing for some SD pilots.

Concrete. Done deal.

That coincides with what i heard except all bases would be with a new pilot contract. And it would be BOI/SAN/DFW/ATL.. but all hinges on the contract, do to some growth that would support those bases...

Same tricks.
SAPA is saying that they had to work hard to get the company back to the table a year early, and now we have to vote something in get big news.

Do we even have merger language in our pilot-agreement? A merger would be big news that company would hold to announce after the next pilot-agreement is signed and they've bumped us 1.5% for eroded merger language ( if we have any).
or
They need us to agree on E190e2 rate for branded flying.
