Starting pay in 2007 was around $20/hr with no bonus', and some were not paid during training. That's 10 years ago. So tell us all some more about how bad it is now compared to the "old" days. How is doubling your pay flying better equipment, having more choices, and better airport food an "increasing trend of crappy QOL"? If you really are in your 30's or 40's, and you are still this clueless, it's even more startling. If you are going to keep barking loud nonsense, you should at least admit to being a clueless millennial. That would excuse most of it. |

Cool story, bruh. I started out flight instructing for $12 under horrendous living conditions, then got into 135 freight. No pay during training, no hotel provided, no transportation. Pay was $27k first year working over time. 24/7 in the middle of the night on call, reserve for one year. Maybe one or two jumpseating agreements and the benefits sucked. It was terrible. What the heck is your point though? We are in the here and now, and we still a have a plethora of QOL issues to fix. Our compensation is also nowhere near industry leading. Have a gander at the Endeavor forum and see their new TA and compare it to the turd that you voted yes to. That is nowhere near industry leading as it once was (was it ever? Probably not). Try flying AA 200s.... You're obviously flying your comfy ERJ when you say that. More airport food choice options? HA HA HA HA HA you can't be serious, man. Might want to check in at your local shrink...you got some issues, pal. |

All of a sudden they place a large AC order. Still racing to the bottom while other regionals are offering 20-30k more in pay. And you will say they can take away a bonus anytime yet that has not happened once. On the contrary they have increased. Furthermore, tomorrow Endeavor will announce bonuses rolled into hard money. What will you say then. Oh well I guess it's better than 20$. You better wake up and look at the pilot market. It's not the same as a decade ago. The pay is actually starting to get to where it should have been for all these years. Yeah congrats you worked for 20$ an hour being a professional Airline Pilot. You did that to yourself. You see what happens when no one flys for pennies. It's a miracle the pay goes up. It's called supply and demand. |

I do have several issues..... like what to do with 19-20 days off per month, the ratio of blondes to brunettes to invite on my boat, Porsche or Ferrari, Bora Bora or Maldives, and Kobe beef or filet mignon....some days are hard. Fortunately, one of my issues isn't reading, writing, and understanding basic English. |
