You think your pay is where it's at because you negotiated it. Laughable sky.. Scabwest only pays what they do because they couldn't pay you less than they pay XJT personnel. Your welcome you had union negotiators and didn't even have to pay dues. Good luck once the economy takes a turn and you've got no protection. Now I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way, it Shure will be fun to watch the rug get yanked out from beneath you when your time comes. TIC TOC.
Please indulge me a second while I stick my nose in your family feud. Skywest pay is where it is because of Skywest pilot's own stupidity and for no other reason. It should be at least 20% higher just based upon current free market principles but they locked in their low pay for the next 5 years.
And you think you have protection from your union! They don't seem to be giving you any protection what so ever. How have they helped you? And they won't, they never do. I have been with ALPA, then Teamsters, then ALPA, then Teamsters. I was about to list the little things that I got from the unions but I can't think of any.
Your company was bought by SW and you refuse to go to SW on 10 year pay. My airline was bought by Delta and the ones they didn't take at the time have been completely blackballed by Delta. They didn't even interview a single one, even years later.

Ok then name one thing in your CBA, that's a Collective Bargaining Agreement (Contract) for you scabwesterlies, or you scabwest folks that's in your "work rules" you think you got from the benevolence of your company overlords willingly. I propose that everything you have every benefit and penny you get is thanks to decades of Unionized labors sweat, perseverance, and sacrifice. Pushing pay and benefits forward. Your welcome.

Every time a pilot agrees to take a position at a non union carrier they basically thumb their nose at centuries of workers and pilots who have fought to get us better everything. And some here have highlighted my point "what has your union done for you" it's not about just me or just you it's the profession as a whole. So every pilot should take it personally when a scab is born accepting to work for a unrepresented carrier.
Dude keep posting. You are hilarious.
ScabWest Hahahahah
Good too see your union protected you as we shut down your airline! Enjoy your next airline!
*To any non douchebag Xjet/ASA guys, sorry about what is happening. Your fight is not with SW pilots... We feel for you. Except for this Dbag... he can walk off a pier

A scab is also anyone who willingly or even unwittingly replaces union worker. Superseding their contract or ability to maintain their bargaining power for better work rules, benefits, or higher wages effectively weakening at this point the pilot profession as a whole.
Otherwise it's flame bait and we'll get you banned.

Typical OO mentality. "We're better than you and we'll do whatever we can to make sure you know and put you out of a job".

When will you people come to grips with the fact that we are all in the same fight together? And then we ask ourselves why regionals and whipsaw exist. What a shame. You'd better be careful what you post here, brotha. It isn't hard for mainline recruiting to find out your identity. APC isn't as anonymous as you would like to believe. The tools for background checking at their disposal are beyond the realm of what you think is possible or even legal.

Typical KSCessnaDriver mentally. "I subconsciously hate myself for choosing Endeavor instead of SkyWest, so I will release an unprovoked passive-aggressive attack and lambast 4500 pilots whom I do not personally know or will ever make an effort to understand. Then I'll complain on every pilot forum known to man why Delta doesn't give me flow!!!!1!"

I apologize for the violation of "official APC policy" and will refrain from further improper use if the term scab per forum policy. I think anyone with the intelligence to look at the situation can understand how stINC, used their new hire usurpers to force a unionized airlines demise.

[QUOTE=03sport007;2464927]I do agree OO pilots are not scabs. With that said, I do feel the OO pilot group has greatly benefitted from the effort and cash of their unionized peers. The Clint Eastwood trajedy that is ALPA is in itself not deserving of anyone's respect at the regional level, but the OO group's repeated refusal to support their profession in the only way possible, is shameful. Unfortunately ALPA is the only professional organization available to airline pilots, but it does have a long list of accomplishments which directly benefit pilots of OO. Just to name one- KCM would not exist without ALPA. How many OO pilots use KCM? A few is my guess.
